Grease Trap Pumping (Overflow)
When not properly serviced, grease traps become a breeding ground for molds, bacteria, and pests. They are a source of foul odors and can lead to contamination of nearby waterways. Grease trap and interceptor issues lead to shutdowns and fines. Cleaning and pumping at the right frequency keeps FOG accumulation below the limit set by your health department.

The right service depends on when your trap was last pumped.
Trap was not pumped recently
Grease and solids may have built up and clogged the outlet. In this case, pumping alone is usually not enough. The proper solution is both a grease trap pumping and a hydro jet cleaning. Pumping only may be an expensive temporary fix if the blockage remains in the line.
Trap was pumped recently
The issue is more likely a clog further down the outlet line. Another pumping would typically only provide temporary relief. The proper service is usually a hydro jet cleaning to clear the actual blockage.
